El Dorado Hills is situated about halfway between San Francisco and South Lake Tahoe. And while we love our little corner of the world, we do love to see how it compares to the rest of the planet. One time we were sitting in a pub in Toronto, near to the Blue Jays stadium. The place was packed with baseball fans. A guy sidled up to our table since there was a small space available and he asked where we were from. He was from Germany. When we told him where we lived, he said, “that’s the most beautiful place there is, why are you here”? He’s right, but we still love seeing new places.
